(I was not quite 18 at the time and away at university studies; my parents did not tell me of his death until almost 6 months later.) I really enjoy having Marines and Navy SEALs as friends, no matter their sexual orientation, no matter near or far. They always inspire me on a daily basis and have done so for decades. Besides, being part of their lives in one way or another keeps me closer to my own sons who are living their dream as U.S. Marine officers on the other side of the world. I enjoy theme parks, the outdoors, esp. the ocean, my puggle puppy, springtime and fall, international cuisine, travel and writing. (I am somewhat literate in 4 languages other than English.) Am also happily married w/ a most incredible male partner for almost 10 years now; we are planning retirement in the next few years and have been having great fun doing this. Maintain 2 homes, an apartment in Northern Virginia and a wonderful house in North Baltimore w/ my partner. Friendships are always vigorously welcome.
